ROCK NANTAIS

On Sunday, June 6 afternoon after the morning hike cyclo ( and the shower to complete the course), places to hike, for a change.

...............................

Marie-Claude has taken us a fact sheet to access Roc at Nantes, 9 km.

Departure is at 15h.
one on the horizon, it's true that time is uncertain, one a try, we start walking towards the village center.

................................

"Ahoy!"
Hey, Claude and Anne-Marie arriving.
's go in search of the Pont de la Prade.
See you at the exit of the village, still no bridge.
It addresses a couple of old people, very friendly (and dynamic) that we intend to drive to the famous Bridge Prade.
Meanwhile, coming in the opposite direction? Anthony and Christine, who join us.
We are now six, plus two grandfathers grannies (79 and 83 years old!).

.............................

"Now you're there, take the road left then right, watch it climbs, it has done so many times, but now it's over for us."

A big thank you to them both, with all that was already almost two kilometers ...

Hula! it climbs dry, about 16% of average over a 2 km climb ...
The trail is very rocky, narrow ... steep.
broom, pines and oaks.
few steps, phew! it's hard ! We reach a clearing, the path descends slightly to the famous Roc Nantais.

............................

It comes as a great platform and from above (808 m), dominates the village (498 m).
The scenery is wonderful, it's fine, we are not anxious to continue, we never tired of scanning the horizon for 360 degrees.

.............................

After half an hour, we returned on our steps a hundred yards, then right to challenge the party's longest since it remains 6 km to perform.

The path is almost flat over 2 km along the forest.
It leads to an open space and, Marie-Claude had warned us, turn right if you're going to Trier and Col de la Pierre Planted (we didn't have to do this morning because of rain).

.................................

From now on, downhill on a road 4 km wide, very nice.

................................

9 km on foot, it wears shoes, not that it ...

After a good shower, you can view the photos I took along the way, thanks to the mini pc that I took. The
WLAN allows us to surf the Internet more, well, victory Carcassonne Tyrosse, they ride in the Pro D2, a derby for next year with Narbonne!

What Size Trowel Should I Use On Six Inch Tile

LA ROQUE STE MARGUERITE ... TREVES ... AND THE RAIN

Sunday, June 6, after two hard days earlier, an easier route is necessary.
This route, which I unearthed on Openrunner, will in fact be the best, in the opinion of all.

..................................

After twenty kilometers quiet (and thanks to the enchanting Dourbie villages ST VERAN the mill CORP), we here in LA ROQUE STE MARGUERITE.

From the map, I know that one must turn right and attack a hill, but I do not see a crossroads.
A glance at my GPS: oops!
is no longer on track !
The turn is laborious, no one knows the region and yet many run at full speed in mind, we must remember, their running back, some miss the call ...

........................................

Always thanks to my GPS, we find the small road that winds.
First, a serious side (and picturesque) 3 km to over 8%, lined ravines, followed by a more gentle slope of 5 km at 4%.

We drive for 20 km then the Black Causse, very little rugged, with beautiful landscapes (dolmens, menhirs), we leave to our left LANUEJOLS, 208 inhabitants, in Lozère, down towards the south.

.................................

At km 47, we discuss a raid of 6 km.
must still say that in this region runs free do not exist, there are always bumps to climb (see profile) ...
The weather is getting worse, a fine drizzle appeared.

................................

A TREVES, it was planned to continue south and climb the Col de la Pierre Planted, 5 km to 6%.
Everyone looks, we hesitate because of the descent may be dangerous in the rain.
Come on, you turn right, there are only 15 km to ING.

.................................

This detour will allow us to pass Cantobre, a small medieval village.
We decide to stop there.
Henry, who knows the place, watching the bikes, we can borrow up to the narrow lanes leading to the church.

..................................

This setback, we have not regretted it, forcing us to endure the rain has intensified, fortunately there are only 5 km to go.

Good shower, a little bit of cloth on the bike, it was close!

(which we will visit in return)

Swot Of Dolce & Gabbana

LUSETTE, The AIGOUAL ... AND PICNIC

Saturday, June 5, the day of the Lusette and picnic at Mount Aigoual ( or not far).
Big day ahead!

................................

Three groups were formed.
The first runs through the gorge Aigoual of Dourbies (The Laupiettes) and return by St Saviour, about 90 km.
The second group, delayed in Vigan veiled by a wheel (requiring passage in a bike shop) Lusette stands by the collar of Mourèze, about 118 km. The third group
fetches the foot of the Lusette 5 km after Le Vigan, in Rey, 121 km.

............................

Everyone is warned: Mont Aigoual is easy, 6 km to 4%.
For cons, the Lusette, 17 km to 7% (with some nice ramps), is reserved for climbers, beefy or courageous lack of training. With my template

lightweight, I take my place in the 1st category.
No problem for sturdy, they go everywhere.
Others (thinking maybe I was exaggerating the difficulty, especially knowing that Carmen did in 2008) have suffered greatly, but through their courage, have risen to the top, probably cursing me for having dragged into this mess.

This pass will, anyway, in briefs, as well as the Tourmalet, Ventoux, ...

..................................

The reward was a few miles further down the Espérou (where we find other groups and walkers) as an improved picnic, prepared with great professionalism by Yvan and its employees.

....................................

We did not leave without climbing Mount Aigoual!
a formality after the efforts made earlier ...

Back then through the gorges of the Dourbies, The Laupies and Laupiettes, low speed fault dotting the gravel road, which allowed us to enjoy the wonderful intricacies of this wonderful river.

Over 250 km in two days for some, we'll have it back!

.................................

Everybody ready?

Small heat from the 7th km (5 km anyway!)

Bez-et-Esparon, more than a dozen miles before the foot of the pass

The hardest part ... more than 3 km

This time, there is! Congratulations to all!

A picnic with hot food!

Recovery ... for everyone!

Two beautiful departments for cycling

The weather is getting worse? The Observatory will tell us that ...
